Zhao Rongying, CPC member, PhD Management, was promoted to associate professor in 1998. She is associate professor of the School of Information Management, Wuhan University and deputy director of Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation. She was deputy director of Knowledge Network Institute of Tsinghua Tong fang CD-ROM Co., Ltd and CNKI Engineering Research Center, product manager of “Chinese Journal Full-text Database”, executive manager and project manager of Marketing Department of Tsinghua Tong Fang CD-ROM Co., Ltd., curator of Academy of Agricultural Sciences Library and director of Information Research Office in Gansu province, etc. In 1996 she attended the 62nd International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) on behalf of the agricultural library and information staff in Northwest region.
From 1997 to 1998, she studied in the postgraduates’ class of Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China that funded by UNESCO, and received graduate certificate jointly issued by the two. In September 1998, she passed an examination of Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China as a postgraduate student, then earned a master's degree and postgraduate degree certificates, and also received Information Science Graduate Certificate of University of Maryland. August 2000-November 2004, she was working hard in construction of China National knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), in Tsinghua Tong fang CD-ROM Co., Ltd. September 2002 -June 2006; she attended School of Information Management, Wuhan University as a doctoral student, then abstained doctor diploma and degree. Since August 2004, she has been working at School of Information Management at Wuhan University. |
